La Part des Anges is the kind of place you stumble upon in Vieux Nice and immediately want to keep as your secret. This isn't a typical restaurant—it's a wine cave first and foremost, with shelves stacked high with bottles and a staff that genuinely lives and breathes natural wine. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, reminiscent of a Parisian bistro, which is a nice touch if you're missing the capital.
The food menu is intentionally simple but well-executed: think quality charcuterie boards, local cheeses, and small plates like pan bagnat and sautéed veal. It's all about complementing the wine, not competing with it. Prices are reasonable for the quality (wine bottles range from €25-35), and the staff will happily pour you a tasting to help you choose. It's not the place for a full multi-course meal, but for a relaxed evening of good wine and good company, it's hard to beat in Nice.
