Tucked away in Hatch End, Caffe Pascucci has quietly become the neighborhood’s go-to for authentic Italian coffee and homemade treats. They source their beans from Pascucci in Italy, and you can taste the difference in every espresso. Skip the takeaway cups if you’re heading out—they’re flimsy—but stay in for the cannoli, gelato, or a freshly baked waffle.
Solid local spot with great coffee
Caffe Pascucci isn’t flashy, but it’s the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to. The coffee is genuinely excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. If you’re a coffee snob, you’ll appreciate that they use beans from the award-winning Pascucci brand. The staff are friendly without being pushy, and the vibe is relaxed enough for a quiet morning or a slow afternoon with a book.
The food menu is small but focused on quality. The cannoli are a standout—crisp shells with creamy filling that doesn’t taste artificial. Gelato is churned daily and changes flavors seasonally. They also do waffles, crepes, and pancakes that feel more like homemade than chain-cafe. Just don’t expect a full Italian restaurant experience; this is a café first, dessert spot second.
One minor gripe: the takeaway cups are cheap and leaky. If you’re grabbing coffee to go, bring your own mug or plan to drink it here. Otherwise, it’s a solid, unpretentious spot that locals clearly love.
