Café Azzurro

Café Azzurro is the newest sibling from the Kommod team, and it's clear they've poured the same attention to detail into this Neubau spot. The space itself is a breath of fresh air—literally sky-blue walls that create a light, airy atmosphere unlike most Vienna restaurants. It's an evening-only concept, opening at 6 PM, which immediately sets a different tone than the typical all-day café.

The food is where Azzurro truly shines. Dishes are thoughtfully composed with surprising flavor combinations that feel both refined and approachable. The bread alone is worth the visit—crusty, warm, and seemingly homemade. Portions lean on the smaller side, but each bite is intentional.
