Le Boaters Inn, c'est le genre d'endroit qu'on ne rate pas quand on habite à Kingston. Situé directement sur la Tamise dans les jardins de Canbury, c'est l'adresse parfaite pour une pause décontractée sans se prendre la tête. La terrasse avec vue sur la rivière est vraiment agréable, surtout l'été, et les chauffages extérieurs permettent de rester dehors même quand il fait un peu frais.
La cuisine est honnête et les prix sont corrects. Le menu fixe à midi est une bonne affaire—18 livres pour deux plats ou 22 pour trois—et le mercredi des ailes à 5 livres pour cinq pièces, c'est presque trop beau pour être vrai. Le vendredi, les bouteilles de prosecco à 25 livres sont parfaites pour commencer la weekend entre amis. Le service est souriant et efficace, même si le weekend il faut s'attendre à un peu d'attente si on n'a pas réservé.
