You descend a few flights of stairs into 600-year-old vaulted cellars beneath Hotel U Prince, right on Old Town Square, and suddenly you're in a 1930s speakeasy complete with candlelight, candelabras, old wood-framed paintings, and a piano player thumping out tunes nightly. The atmosphere is genuinely transportive, not a gimmick.
The cocktail menu is where things get serious. Standout drinks include the Bohemian Manhattan, made entirely with Czech spirits, and the Angel's Monastery, which balances sweet and herbal notes beautifully. The Alois Becher Cobbler—featuring Becherovka, the herbal digestif from Karlovy Vary—is a great opener if you want something local.
