About the Vibe

Beef Cut is the kind of place that screams "look at me" from the moment you spot its glitzy storefront in Courbevoie. It’s a steakhouse that leans heavily into the Salt Bae aesthetic—think leather aprons, gold accents, and a menu that promises "exceptional meats" while serving up a scene straight out of an influencer’s feed. You’ll find a crowd of young professionals and Instagrammers lining up (or at least waiting for a table), drawn by the spectacle of butter being poured over steaks on a tabletop grill. But let’s be honest: this isn’t a place for quiet, refined dining. It’s loud, flashy, and very much about the experience (and the photo op) rather than culinary depth.

Bling Over Beef

Beef Cut is a steakhouse that prioritizes style over substance, and that’s exactly what you’re paying for if you walk through its doors. The place is undeniably flashy, with a decor that leans hard into the "bling" aesthetic—gold fixtures, leather aprons, and a menu that practically begs you to film your meal. The service is theatrical, with waiters pouring entire pots of butter over your steak at the table, which is fun for about ten seconds before you realize you’re drowning in grease. The carpaccio de boeuf, advertised as "house-made," arrives with plastic wrap still visible on the meat, and the entrecôte, while cooked to a decent medium, is overshadowed by a Béarnaise sauce that’s so salty it could clear your sinuses.

The crowd is young, trendy, and very much here for the vibe rather than the food. You’ll see groups of friends snapping photos of their butter-slicked steaks, and the atmosphere is more nightclub than restaurant. The wine list is practically non-existent, so just grab a bottle from the bar or bring your own. If you’re looking for a place to impress someone with your Instagram feed, this is it. If you’re looking for a meal that tastes as good as it looks, run in the opposite direction. The prices are steep for what you get—a carpaccio for €35 is a joke—but the experience is undeniably memorable, if not particularly memorable in the right way.
