Let's be honest — you're not coming here for the food or the cocktails. You're coming for the view, and what a view it is. Perched on the 27th floor of the Riu Plaza España hotel, 360º Rooftop Bar gives you full panoramic views across the entire Madrid skyline, from the Royal Palace to the Almudena Cathedral and everything in between. The sunset here is the real draw — arrive about an hour before golden hour to grab a spot along the railing, because it gets packed fast and the best positions go quickly.
The space itself is spread over more than 500 square meters with two bars, sofas, armchairs, and bar stools. There's also a Sky Bar on the 26th floor with a glass floor that's not for the faint-hearted. Live music and concerts add to the atmosphere, especially on weekends. Drinks are what you'd expect from a hotel rooftop — pricey and not particularly memorable — but you're paying for the altitude, not the mixology. The food menu (tapas, snacks, and sharing plates via the El Edén Gastrobar) is fine but nothing to write home about.
With a 3.8 rating across over 2,500 Google reviews, the consensus is clear: the views are world-class, the experience is fun, but the value-for-money and service can be hit or miss. Perché au 27e étage de l'hôtel Riu Plaza España, le 360º Rooftop Bar offre des panoramiques à 360 degrés sur tout Madrid, du Palais Royal à la cathédrale de l'Almudena. Le coucher de soleil est le vrai moment fort — arrivez environ une heure avant l'heure dorée pour vous placer le long de la rambarde, car ça se remplit vite et les meilleurs spots partent en un clin d'œil.
